Simply Earth December 2020 Box Review
For starters, each Simply Earth box that arrives each month has a theme. For the month of December, the theme is all things “Soap.” The very first thing I noticed after opening this box was how interesting the extra items are that you receive, along with the 4 essential oils! The entire box just screams “cozy Christmas” and it’s the epitome of winter.
Here’s what’s coming in the Simply Earth December box:

Here is a detailed description of each of the 4 essential oils that you’ll be receiving in the December box and what kind of wellness benefits each one brings:
1. Cinnamon Leaf
I was most excited about this essential oil when I first saw it! I can’t wait to start adding it to other delicious smelling diffusing blends. It’s absolutely perfect for the holidays coming up!

2. Cedarwood
Cedarwood’s uses can be traced as far as biblical times, as it was used for construction materials in temples, homes, boats, and torches. Today, however, Cedarwood Himalayan is now more commonly used for its skin and respiratory benefits. Personally, I can’t wait to try out this essential oil by using it to make the “Orange Groce Exfoliating Soap.” A recipe that can be found in the December box!

3. Bergamot Essential Oil
I had never heard of the Bergamot essential oil until receiving this box. However, I found its history and health benefits to be very interesting. Not to mention, it smells amazing!
According to Simply Earth’s website, Bergamot was named after a town in Italy – Bergamo – where Bergamot oil was first marketed. This citrus oil was most commonly used in Italian folk medicine for fevers and other medicinal purposes for many years.
I’m excited to try out Bergamot in the “Calming Orange Grove Roll On” recipe!

4. Winter Spice
Last but not least, the Winter Spice Essential Oil! It’s the perfect addition to make your home have that Christmas smell naturally and boost your mood to get into the holiday spirit! Additionally, this oil is made up of a blend of Tangerine, Fir Needle, and Balsam Fir Essential Oils. Giving it a delightful aroma of an evergreen tree with a hint of citrus.

- Orange Slices – These are a natural exfoliant and help make your soap pretty!
