Hey there! It’s been a little while since I posted on my blog, however, I’ve been working on a ton of new, exciting stuff! Plus, work in general, and classes have been taxing. Although, isn’t school always strenuous this time year? So, for today’s post, I thought I would give you some delicious and festive Starbuck drink ideas that you can try on your next commute to school or work this week!
This post is an updated version of last year’s post on my “healthier” Starbucks drinks recipes. So, definitely go check that one out for additional drink ideas! Again, I say “healthier” because all 6 of these drink recipes are low-calorie, macro-friendly, and, for the most part, dairy-free. However, just like my other post, I want to give the same disclaimer:
Although these drinks contain way fewer calories, I wouldn’t exactly describe them as “healthy.” BUT, they are healthier than the original drinks sold at Starbucks. And although these drinks do contain artificial sweeteners, you are saving hundreds of calories, and tons of sugar, by opting for these “healthier” drinks instead!
For example, the regular version of the Chestnut Praline Latte at Starbucks would be 13 grams of fat, 42 grams of carbs, and 39 grams of sugar!! The healthier alternative that I mention below contains only 2 grams of fat, 14 grams of carbs, and 13 grams of sugar! Saving you 26 grams of sugar from one drink!! These drinks simply allow you to enjoy your favorite wintery/festive drinks (balance!) while cutting down on the unnecessary calories and sugar! Remember, moderation and balance are the keys to a sustainable and long-lasting healthy lifestyle!
