Happy February 28th! Also, happy leap year haha! This month has been so crazy and has honestly felt like the longest month ever. Even though it’s supposed to be the shortest! Has the month of February felt like the longest month to you as well?! I feel like the last week of February lasted for 3 weeks! 🙃 So I am incredibly happy to finally say that it is almost March and (hopefully!) Spring is upon us! Even though we were just hit with a ton of snow here in Michigan. With that, I am bringing you my 5 Friday favorites for the month of February in honor of March coming right around the corner.
I’ve tried quite a lot of different things this past month, however, these 5 that I chose are definitely the most used items that I have recently purchased! This Friday Favorites list includes the greatest (and cheapest!) flair pen dupe, my new Erin Condren planner, a hand-held frother, my favorite face toner, and my current favorite all-natural deodorant!
So, let’s get into them!
1. Flair pens dupe
This one is hands-down going to be a new favorite for all of my fellow teachers and colorful pen lovers out there! I am a sucker for any kind of colorful flair pens. With that, I am a huge fan of the Papermate Flair Pens. I love the way that it writes and the many vibrant colors. However, there is one issue with those pens. They are pretty expensive! Especially if you are a college student or a teacher ballin’ on a budget. Therefore, I was on the hunt for a cheaper alternative to those flair pens, and I found them!
These Amazon Basics Felt Tip Markers are a FANTASTIC dupe for the Papermate flair pens! These are basically flair pens, but they are from gold ole’ Amazon and a lot cheaper! So if you’re a flair pen fanatic like me, definitely go get yourself a pack of these guys! They currently come in the assorted 24-pack and the assorted 12-pack!
2. Erin Condren leopard print planner
I have been obsessed with Erin Condren planners for so long!! However, at the beginning of this year, I didn’t think I really needed one (crazy right!) since I wasn’t working as much, therefore, I bought a cheap one. Nonetheless, I was wrong lol! There’s something about the Erin Condren planners that get me so motivated to write in them and be more organized and productive altogether. So, I decided that I would wait until there was a sale on the website to purchase one. And thankfully the sale is still going on!
I am in LOVE with this new design for the Erin Condren Life Planner, and when I saw it, I HAD to buy it! I mean, how cute is this pink leopard print?! And at this time, this exact planner is on sale for $33 dollars! That’s a 40% savings! And even better, you can use the code “Honey10” to save an additional $10. Bringing the total price down to only $23. That’s insane for Erin Condren planners! I also want to mention that this code is not mine, I have the free Honey Browser extension on my Macbook, which is free to download and has saved me so much money on various different websites! And it’s super easy to download.
Lastly, if you want the same color as my planner in the photo, I chose the color “peach” for my cover! 💗However, there are so many designs and cover colors to choose from!
3. Hand-held frother
Ironically, I bought this hand-held frother on a whim on Amazon and I can’t believe how often I use it now and how much I seriously love it! I literally use this little gadget for EVERYTHING! Frothing my coffee with oat milk creamer? Yep! Stirring my collagen hot chocolate? Yes! Even mixing my BCAAs in my water bottle? Yes! Anything that I would typically stir in my coffee or water, I use this frother. I initially bought it to stir in my greens powder (best tasting greens powder!) or my BCAAs into my water bottle, since I wasn’t using a shaker bottle, but one that has a straw. Therefore, stirring in those powders (particularly the greens powder) was difficult and spoon just simply wasn’t doing the job.
So, I went on Amazon and quickly purchased this cheap frother thinking it would do the job okay. But, it works better than I even imagined! I actually ended up purchasing another one the other day so I would have one specifically for my coffee, and the other one for my water haha! I 100% recommend this frother to anyone who frequently adds powder to their water or who simply wants a fancy frothed latte each and every morning!
4. Primally Pure toner
This spray literally does it all! But for me, I typically use it as a daily toner in the evening, and then as a refreshing facial mist during the day. Along with feeling refreshed after using Primally Pure’s Everything Spray, I also feel like my skin is noticeably brighter and more balanced. Not to mention, I use it on my underarms each morning before I put on my Primally Pure charcoal deodorant (mentioned below! 😉) since this is a great underarm refresher and for preventing ingrown hairs from shaving. Additionally, this spray is made with organic lavender hydrosol soothes which helps to calm irritated and inflamed skin. I seriously don’t know what I would do without this stuff!
5. Primally Pure charcoal deodorant
This all-natural, non-toxic deodorant from Primally Pure has become a brand new favorite of mine literally overnight! I have been using numerous products by Primally Pure for so long now, however, this charcoal deodorant has to be my number #1 favorite. Next to the Everything Spray obviously haha! I used to use the blue tansy scented deodorant from Primally Pure, but if I’m being honest, I got pretty sick of that scent after a while. It still worked great, but I definitely prefer the subtle, more minty scent of this charcoal deodorant!
If you are thinking about making the switch to an all-natural deodorant, do it! I haven’t looked back since! But just in case you need to know more info about the hazards associated with conventional deodorant and the benefits of using Primally Pure’s natural deodorant, definitely check out this blog post I did a while back!
I hope you enjoyed this month’s favorites post!
